Dickson Powell Partnership was founded in 1972. Based in Clifton, Bristol the Practice is now led by Partners Nick Trolley, Peter Vaughan and Richard Cox.
The Practice encompasses many aspects of construction consultancy including quantity surveying, employer’s agents, project management, expert witness and CDM project safety co-ordinator.

The Practice has been retained by a wide variety of clients in the residential, office, commercial, retail and industrial sectors, as well as working with local authorities, health trusts, housing associations and private individuals.

Although the Practice is based in Bristol this does not limit our area of coverage.

As well as working in and around Bristol we are acting for clients with projects in Cornwall, Lancashire, East Anglia, Cambridgeshire, West Yorkshire, Northern Ireland and Scotland. We believe that by adopting a centralised office policy we retain the flexibility to service projects nationally but with the administrative costs of a regional base.

The Practice acts for a wide client base and works on a variety of projects with many different ‘key drivers’. We adopt a traditional quantity surveying philosophy to our projects and utilise modern techniques and programmes to ensure our Clients’expectations are achieved.

We also have experience of acting as ‘Monitoring Surveyor’ for banks, private individuals and other funding organisations of developments where the lender was either acting as ‘funder’ or a Joint Venture Party.

The Practice adopts the principle that a Partner or Senior Associate manages all projects with assistance provided by Technical staff as and when required.

A Partner will be allocated to each project and will be directly responsible and available to the Client throughout the pre and post contract development period.

Dickson-Powell Partnership recognises the importance of responding rapidly to Clients demands and maintaining the flexibility to adapt to specific requirements.
