He joined Dickson Powell Partnership in 1982, was elected an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1983, was appointed an associate of the Practice in 1985, a partner in 1990 and an equity partner of the Practice in 2000. Nick was joined by Peter Vaughan as an equity partner in January 2004. Peter R Vaughan, MCIOB.
In 1990 Peter joined Chartered Quantity Surveyors Jeffreys and Vaughan, becoming an equity partner in 1993 and acting on a wide range of projects, generally for Institutional clients. In January 2004 Jeffreys and Vaughan was incorporated into Dickson Powell Partnership and Peter teamed up with Nick as an equity partner. Richard J Cox, BSc, MRICS.
He was elected an Associated Member of the RICS in November 1986 and in the same year, joined Pearce Construction as Senior Quantity Surveyor dealing with the appointment and payment of sub contractors and the control of direct labour. In 1988 he moved to JT Design Build as a Senior Estimator/Surveyor working within a multidisciplinary design team utilising computerised take off and estimating packages. He joined Dickson Powell Partnership in 1989 and was appointed a partner in 1994. |

Nick joined Venning Hope & Partners Chartered Quantity Surveyors straight from college in 1976, working in their Taunton, Bristol and London offices. He qualified with the Institute of Quantity Surveyors in 1977 and became an Associate of the Institute of Arbitrators in 1981
Peter joined William Cowlin & Son Ltd, a regional building contractor in 1982 as a Construction Management trainee. In tandem with work he studied for a BTec in Building Studies, followed by an HNC leading to a CIOB Final Part 1 and 2 course which he completed in 1989. In this period Peter progressed from trainee Site Engineer to Site Agent, looking after a diverse range of construction projects and gaining invaluable practical contracting based knowledge of building operations.
Richard joined Gleeds Chartered Quality Surveyors in 1977 and after completing a BTech in Building Studies at Brunel College in Bristol he went on to complete a day release degree in Building Studies (Quantities Option) at the Southbank Polytechnic, graduating in 1985.Design by Somerset Web Design
